How do I place an order?

Simply complete an online or printable order form at http://www.createacalendar.info/ordering.html. On receipt of your order we will send you an order acknowledgement via email, please check this thoroughly to ensure all details are correct.

How do I send you my files?

Once you have placed an order please send us your files by:

FTP: the quickest and easiest way to send us your files is by using our FTP site. Simply complete the required form fields (name and reference/estimate number) and then 'add files' by browsing your computer. Once you have added all the necessary files click 'upload files' and they will be automatically uploaded to our servers.

Post: write the files to CD/DVD and post them to us at createAcalendar, Cambridge Printing Park, Milton, Cambridge CB24 6AZ.

Email: email your files directly to orders@createacalendar.info

Please remember to rename all of your images by their month name and include a text document with your image captions, memorable dates, cover title, strapline and any other information/instructions.

What file formats do you accept?

Images and logos should be supplied as TIFF, JPEG or EPS files. We recommend the file size should be at least 1MB and 300dpi. We will advise you before printing if any of your images are poor quality.

Text for your calendar should be provided as a text file e.g. Microsoft Word or via email to sales@createacalendar.info.

If supplying complete print ready artwork please send high resolution single page PDFs with all fonts embedded, 3mm bleed and crop marks.

Can I supply images as hard copy?

Yes, images can be supplied as hard copy. Our scanning charges are £5 + vat per image.

Can I supply my own artwork ready for you to print?

Yes, you can send print ready artwork as Publisher, EPS, Indesign or Quark files or preferably high resolution single page PDFs with all fonts embedded, 3mm bleed and crop marks. There is no discount for supplying your own artwork but you will receive a free printed proof for approval.

Can I add my own memorable dates?

Yes, we will add 12 of your own special dates free of charge. Thereafter memorable dates are charged extra at £1 + vat each. UK bank and public holidays are included as standard as are UK Patron Saint Days and British Summer Time.

Will I receive a proof of my calendar?

Yes, within 2-3 working days of receiving you order we will email you with details of how to view your PDF calendar proof online at the secure client only area of our website. To view your proof you will need Adobe reader, which can be downloaded free from Adobe. When you receive your proof please check it carefully for any errors. We can not be responsible for any errors within the calendar once approval to print has been given. You have the opportunity to receive a second free PDF proof including any amendments you require. Thereafter additional PDF proofs are chargeable at £25 each + vat. Printed proofs are available (additional charge of £50 + vat). If you supply print ready artwork we will send you a printed proof free of charge for approval.

Can I change the colours and fonts used in your templates?

Yes, please let us know what your preferred colour scheme and fonts are and we will accommodate your request. Some fonts/colours may not be available but we will match as close as possible to your choice.

What printing method do you use?

Depending on quantity ordered calendars are either digitally or lithographically printed in full colour (CMYK) process. We do not use photocopiers.

Can you print my company colours in spot (PMS) colour?

Yes, our prices are based on standard 4 colour printing out of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK). For spot colour printing please contact us to discuss your exact requirements and we will send you a bespoke quotation.

Can I choose different finishes e.g. recycled paper or coloured wires?

Our standard paper is coated silk and is PEFC or FSC certified. Recycled, gloss, matt and other specialist papers are available on request at extra charge. Other special finishing options include coloured wires, lamination, spot UV varnish, foiling, die cutting. Please contact us to discuss your exact requirements and we will send you a bespoke quotation.

Do you supply postal wallets?

Yes, postal wallets/envelopes are available on request at extra charge. Prices are 20p each for C5, 25p each for Jewel Case, 30p each for C4, 35p each for C3/Slimline and 50p each for B3. Prices are each and exclude VAT. When calendar postal wallets are ordered calendars will be inserted into the wallets before packing except when Jewel Case Calendars are ordered in which case wallets are packed separately.

What are your payment terms?

Unless you have an approved account with us we require payment before we proceed with printing. Payment can be made by cheque, debit /credit card or BACS transfer.

How will my calendars be delivered?

Standard delivery is 10 working days from receipt of your approval to print. Calendars are packed in boxes and dispatched via a national courier (requires signature). When calendar postal wallets are ordered (at extra charge) calendars will be inserted into the wallets before packing.

Can I order a reprint if I run out of calendars?

Yes, we will reprint a minimum of 50 calendars at the same unit price as your original order. This offer is not applicable on B3 traditional wall calendars, stapled calendar books or any calendars where additional special finishes such as laminating have been requested. We can not guarantee an exact match to the original copy.
